Founded in 1958 by Shri N.K. Firodia in Mumbai, Force Motors began by manufacturing Tempo three-wheelers and has grown into a fully integrated Indian commercial-vehicle manufacturer. Since 1997 the company has been a manufacturing partner for Mercedes-Benz engines built in India, and in 2022 launched the Urbania — a monocoque-bodied premium van built on Mercedes-Benz-derived engine architecture.
